Hubrich Contracting has officially begun construction on the new Oceanside Collegiate Academy Athletic Complex upgrade. This marks a significant milestone for the school’s athletic programs. Located at 580 Faison Rd, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466, this project will enhance existing athletic infrastructure. It will also introducing several modern facilities to benefit student-athletes and the school community.
A Major Upgrade for Oceanside Collegiate Academy Athletics
The upcoming athletic complex will feature several key additions designed to improve both the student-athlete experience and the overall functionality of the school’s sports programs. These enhancements include:
- New Gymnasium Building – A state-of-the-art indoor facility for basketball, volleyball, and other indoor sports.
- Elevated Press Box – Designed to improve event management and media coverage for games.
- Expanded Bleachers – Providing additional seating to accommodate larger crowds and improve the spectator experience.
- Improved Site Work and Infrastructure – Enhancements to the surrounding area for better accessibility and safety.
Oceanside Collegiate Academy: A School of Excellence
OCA serves students in grades 9-12 with a maximum enrollment of 675 students. As a public charter school, it offers a unique academic program that includes:
- Honors curriculum for 9th and 10th-grade students.
- Dual enrollment opportunities for 11th and 12th-grade students, allowing them to earn college credits while completing high school.
