Hubrich Contacting began construction of the new Horse Creek Academy 9th Grade Center and is expected to be completed for the 2021 - 2022 school year. The building will serve 100 students and offer the South Carolina high school diploma track as well as South Carolina credential track and have career-centered experiences on campus beginning with agriculture.”
The building is 26374 square feet with 30 class rooms, a multi purpose room and administration area.
Wood framed with pre engineered floor and roof trusses.
The interior walls are 5/8 sheetrock and painted.
Three 60 ton and Three 50 ton Carrier DX Mechanical roof top HVAC units.
The exterior has a brick veneer up to the 5'4" elevation. Then there is a combination of 5/16" cementitious vertical panel system 4' x 4' with horizontal and vertical aluminum reveal system by Tamyln as well as cementitious 1" horizontal reveal siding.
The flooring for the first floor is sealed concrete.
The second floor is LVT.
The multi purpose room is a polymer over a absorbent padding.
There are 12 RTU's providing the hvac requirements.
It has an elevator that services the second floor as well as three stairwells.
The roof is sloped for drainage but is basically flat using an adhered roof membrane system.
