Voyager Academy Middle School is a project-based learning charter school in Durham, N.C., serving students in grades 4 – 8, and was established in 2007. The middle school building is part of a three-school campus that includes a high and elementary school as well. Hubrich Contracting built all three buildings on site. Delivery of the project required expedited approvals through NCDOT and the City of Durham. Included build-outs of two temporary spaces so the school could “launch” in a building within the same office park.
