Hubrich Contracting Holds Groundbreaking for New Voyager Charter School in South Carolina

North Carolina-based construction company Hubrich Contracting hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on April 30th for the upcoming Voyager Charter School, located in South Carolina. Representatives from the local government, and the school administration attended the event, which signaled the beginning of a new chapter for the educational institution.

During the ceremony, Ashley Cary, Hubrich Contractings’s Business Director, expressed her excitement about the project, stating that Hubrich’s team was eager to put in the hard work necessary to create a cutting-edge facility that would serve the needs of both teachers and students for years to come.

 

Hubrich Contracting has partnered with Voyager Charter School to build a new educational campus in West Ashley, South Carolina. Located on Bluewater Way, the new buildings will serve approximately 420 students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The school will feature a gymnasium, cafeteria, media center, and playground.

The construction of the Voyager Charter School began in April 2023, with the school opening its doors to students in August 2024. Although the project is expected to be completed in the winter. The school will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide an exceptional learning environment for its students.
