Palmetto Scholars Academy was formed by a group of parents and educators seeking a unique educational experience for high ability students. They wanted a school setting that provided academic challenge in all subjects and met the social and emotional needs of Gifted students.
Palmetto Scholars Academy is located on an active military base (Joint Base Charleston - JBC) and serves a community of intellectually gifted students in grades 6-12. Hubrich worked with the school, the Base and the investment bank to negotiate the land lease and all architectural restrictions to allow the school to be built on the Base. Working with PSA, Hubrich oversaw the development of architectural, civil and engineering drawings to accommodate the needs of the school.
